Beholder - Talbot Rice

I was in invited to select a piece of work from an artist for the current exhibition at Talbot Rice Gallery, Edinbrugh.  I selected a painting by Djordje Ozbalt entitled 'Drool' 2010.  The show features work from artists such as Yoko Ono and Giorgio Morandi it's on until 18th February.

Drawing Room workshop at Gallery of Modern Art

I had lost these images from when I conducted this workshop last year sometime.  It was really good  and I like these images of the participants working away to experimental music.

Work Selected for Liverpool's 'Royal Standard'

One of my paintings was selected during the Embassy Gallery's Members Show to travel down to Liverpool to be included in a selected group show at the 'Royal Standard'.  More details to follow.  Also, our proposal for a three person show has been accepted at The Briggait Gallery in Glasgow for later this year.  I will be exhibiting with Thomas Aitchison and Tim Dodds.

A rare chance to see the current work of Jersey born, Edinburgh based painter Tim Le Breuilly.  These smaller paintings offer a more intimate insight into his studio practice.  Le Breuilly was born in St.Helier in 1978 educated at Victoria College. He went on to graduate from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2002.  He has since been shortlisted for the john Moores painting prize, as well as exhibiting internationally, he co-initiated ‘SunBear’ artist run gallery and is currently involved with studio collective ‘Super Club’.
